Keeping the faith

THE “big protest” planned against the Catholic Church recently was turned on its head by the faithful who put God before the misguided calls for a mass boycott and ensured they kept the first and third commandment by keeping holy the sabbath day.

It’s extraordinary that in the home town of the lady who initiated the protest, only a single green armband was worn by an anonymous lady. What a contrast to the three women quoted in the same report (September 27) who gave an eloquent account of their faith and who unashamedly provided their names for publication as proof of their religious convictions.
