Pensions disparity

PENSIONS should never be treated as an income as it serves the state when people help themselves.

However, if they must be taxed, those getting handsome pensions from the civil service should be taxed more than someone on a private pension.

Those in the private sector have riskier employment and pension schemes, so the tax they pay on their pension should be much less or non-existent.
