Enough is enough

I BELIEVE every citizen should canvass their local politicians demanding the closure of Anglo Irish Bank and, failing that, take to the streets.

It has cost us, and will cost our children and grandchildren, €23bn and now we’re told it may ultimately cost €35bn.

I have had enough – if it were possible I think the bank should be razed to the ground as a visual statement that Irish taxpayers will never again accept what its directors and those guilty of similar offences have done to them.
