Know your neighbours - Contact is good for us
Enjoying a good social life with friends and neighbours can improve a person’s chance of survival by as much as 50%, according to the study conducted by an American university.
Having little social interaction with friends and neighbours, on the other hand, can be as harmful to the body as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. It is not only as harmful as not getting any exercise but twice as bad as the risks posed by obesity.
