Soldier for democracy

RYLE Dwyer says in his review (May 15) of the new biography of Seán Moylan that despite his part in the War of Independence, Moylan resented being called a gunman in the Dáil.

Soldier for democracy

It was precisely because of his part in the War of Independence that Moylan could not be described as a gunman, or indeed as a rebel.
