The answer, according to the Minister for Social Protection, Eamon O Cuiv, in relation to hinted-at means testing for contributory state pension cuts, is €50,000 per year.

Senator Dan Boyle has stated that anyone earning €270 per week (€13,000 per year) would not be considered for means testing.
