McWilliams simply telling it like it is

DAVID McWilliams’s closing assessment in the October 6 show of Addicted to Money is possibly the death knell for NAMA and the current government.

He took an unfathomable topic that everybody has a major steak in and delivered an very succinct summation.

Addicted to Money is essentially a populist programme, in which Mc Williams offers his encapsulation of where our economy/financial system failed. He clearly depicts the crime, the culprits, the current reality and the vista that lays ahead. Most significantly he distills the anger viewers feel and proceeds to verbalise exactly why they feel that anger. His final sentence “now how does that make you feel?” seemed an implicit call for resistance. If I were an advocate of NAMA or a member of Fianna Fáil I’d be hoping that Green Party delegates due to vote at the weekend did not tune in.
