Small firms must face up to the new reality

THE Government should not grant the Small Firms’ Association request for taxpayers’ support.

Now that the economy is realigning itself these firms must adjust to reality. Nothing could retard recovery more than taxing profitable businesses to subsidise lossmaking ones. The capital and labour these lossmaking businesses are wasting must be released to contribute to the creation of sustainable growth and productive jobs.
