Radio teasers

HAS anybody else noticed that you can’t turn on the radio any more without having to listen to some silly competition or other.

The Late Late Show is just as bad. It’s as though every public broadcast in Ireland is trying to get rid of unwanted Christmas presents.

Is this because the producers believe they are catering for a nation that has suddenly transmogrified into compulsive gamblers or because the producers are getting free Christmas presents in exchange for all the irritating publicity, or is it a carefully coordinated government plot to try to convince all the newly poverty-stricken voters there is still hope under this government.
