AFTER reading Catherine Shanahan’s excellent article (April 18) about the increase in the number of underage girls seeking the morning-after pill, I am left with an even lower opinion of womankind.

State should not have to pay for loose morals

Have these girls any self-respect? Are they not now sufficiently educated to understand the risks of unprotected sex?

Have they ever wondered why their one-night encounter is never the one to accompany them to a doctor the next morning?
