Where we need to look for inspiration

FOR many centuries the Irish people willingly and even passionately endured many sacrifices, often to the point of death for their beliefs.

From the time of St Patrick and for many centuries thereafter, thousands of Irish men and women gave their lives in service to something and someone greater.

Today, tourists may casually smile at such a book title as being a quaint Irish fable, while we here in Ireland may merely make light of such a book as nothing more than a curiosity, or possibly as a gift for visiting relatives from America.
