Council praised for moving litter mountain

Council praised for moving litter mountain

This scenic, winding approach road to Cork city was constructed and landscaped at enormous cost. The county council has now restored it to the condition envisaged by the planners and hopefully this will be maintained. The quantity of litter removed exceeded all expectations, 870 bags over a two-week period, all put there by us, the motoring public.

We at Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL) appeal to all drivers and passengers to refrain from throwing litter from cars and trucks.
