Cowen’s swansong?

IN Taoiseach Brian Cowen’s recent intemperate, Sinatra-inspired outburst he forgot to mention the start of the quoted song which opens with “And now, the end is near.”

Perhaps, and contrary to the current wave of cynicism, he does know more than the rest of us after all.
