Not a duel of equals

TRANSPORT Minister Noel Dempsey threatens not to separate Cork airport from the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) if the debt situation is not resolved.

Where is his objectivity?

He might as well tell Cork Airport Authority (CAA) to surrender. Obviously, this is not a duel of equals and it appears the CAA will have to accept the ultimatium or remain tied to the DAA. Where is the State’s promise of a debt-free CAA?
