Government doing more harm than old warlord

HERE I am, 12,000 miles away in New Zealand and three generations distant from my ancestral home of Kilrush.

I am appalled by the incredible attitude of the Irish Government to the historical and cultural heartland of the country.

Why, the Vikings of Olaf the White could not be doing a better job of destroying the old centre of Ireland than the present representatives of the Irish people.
