FF’s Northern problem

DOES anyone really believe that Fianna Fáil will organise north of the border? Two of the Republic’s biggest scandals — beef and clerical abuse — were exposed by Northern TV stations. Could a delicate flower like Fianna Fáil really survive the heat if subjected to the kind of scrutiny they would get in a jurisdiction where the media does its job?

I, for one, was not surprised when Bertie, fresh from his appearance at the tribunal, poured a little cold water on the story by putting it on a very long finger.
