WOULD Vijay Kohli (Letters, August 28) not agree that the gardaí have enough problems trying to police the native population wearing flat caps?

How the ‘Saturday night millionaires’ would react to a garda wearing unfamiliar head-dress is anyone’s guess.

In my opinion, anyone contemplating policing the streets of Ireland wearing a turban can only be described as being off his head.
