The word is out, thanks to Bob

IT was with some gratification that I read your headline regarding Bob Geldof’s comments on the recent G8 meetings. (Geldof: G8 deal on Africa ‘bollocks’, June 9).

As a term of abuse, few words convey the same level of disgust as a well enunciated ‘bollocks!’

That it makes the front page of a national newspaper says much (positively) about your standard of journalism. I doubt that any reader capable of being offended by such terminology would have been any less upset if you had opted instead for b*****ks.
