Shameful A&E report

I AM disgusted by the report to the HSE which advises curtailing A&E services at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan.

For the past 17 years, the A&E there has not been upgraded and is still based in temporary buildings in spite of a dramatic population increase in Co Meath.

Promises of an upgrade were made but never kept. How the HSE can let a county the size and population of Meath not have a fully working general hospital is beyond me.

Shame on the Government, shame on the Department of Health and shame on the HSE.
