Voters turned blind eye to FF’s policy failures

I WAS amazed at the surge in the Fianna Fáil vote. Have people got such short memories or do they really not care about all the problems that have worsened under this Government over the last 10 years?

Voters turned blind eye to FF’s policy failures

As for Cork, FF deserved to lose all their seats over their appalling record here. Why did voters turn a blind eye to issues like the airport debt, job losses and failure to fund projects such as flyovers at Sarsfield Road and Bandon Road, a new maternity hospital already too small for an increasing population as well as lack of planning in developing the suburbs, in particular the provision of schools and public transport.

So no complaints then from those who voted FF in Cork — they look set to get the government they deserve. Again.
