Carers from cradle to the grave
What’s so special about being a nurse? There are few people whose lives have not in some way been touched by a nurse. From the moment of birth, babies are placed into the arms of the midwife … developmental checks by the public health nurse … immunisation by the practice nurse.
This care continues throughout a person’s life during times of diagnosis and treatment for chronic illness, infections, surgical procedures, following accidents, cancer care, etc. Nurses provide care based on scientific, technical, intuitive and philosophical knowledge 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for all our patients.
