Fool proof food - Simple Spaghetti
Put in the spaghetti and bring back to the boil, cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat, cover the pot and let it sit for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spaghetti.
Strain immediately and toss in your favourite sauce.
Spaghetti with Wild Garlic Pesto
As soon as the spaghetti is cooked, toss it in Wild Garlic Pesto, add a few chopped fresh wild garlic leaves and sprinkle with wild garlic flowers.
Another quick pasta sauce
4-6 tbsp olive oil
4-6 tomatoes, seeded and diced
Salt, freshly ground pepper and a good pinch of sugar
Crushed clove of garlic.
1-2 tbsp of chopped parsley, chives or basil or a mixture of these.
Heat the olive oil, add the tomato, garlic, seasonings and herbs and heat until barely warm. Serve with pasta.
