Why do you devote so little space to Irish soccer?

I AM a regular reader of the Irish Examiner, however today (Tuesday) I find myself questioning whether or not to make further purchases of your paper.

Why do you devote so little space to Irish soccer?

Today’s paper devotes 11 pages to sport, approximately three to soccer. There are almost two full pages on English soccer and on Page 22 there are three small articles on Irish soccer.

This was made up of: a concise round-up of the weekend’s Munster senior league action, a small article on Cork City’s game against Derry City in the eircom league and a tiny article on Shamrock Rovers’ win against Dundalk in the League Cup.
