Private belief and public intolerance

I AGREE with the Pope’s comments on the Northern peace process during his recent meeting with President McAleese — the world needs to know Christians can coexist.

We Christians need to re-examine our lives. Christianity was never meant to be a private individual matter or set aside for one day of the week.

There is an ugly suppression of faith in modern society. People seem to have forgotten you can disagree with someone without hating them.
