Unionists had it so good for so long

DR HAZLETT LYNCH’S letter (Irish Examiner, January 15) made pitiful reading. The poor man has still not realised that the cosy little apartheid arrangement which existed in the northeast of Ireland for more then 60 years is now almost a thing of the past.

Unionists had it so good for so long

He has just got to accept that gerrymandering is on the way out, as is discrimination, bigotry and the blatant sectarianism which was so much part of the fascist unionist reign in that region since partition.

Of course it will be difficult for unionists to accept that power-sharing is just around the corner because they have had it so good for so long.
