If others won’t send troops, why should we?

THERE’S no reason why we should feel committed to send troops to Lebanon, given the reluctance by other EU states to do so. Fighting may erupt again at any time.

If others won’t send troops, why should we?

In any case, it’s about time we took a rest from Lebanon. Irish troops have done their bit there for 20 years and some paid for it with their lives.
