John Duncan Morris is not entitled to compensation under the mother and baby homes redress scheme.

John Duncan Morris knew who his birth mother was for many years, and that he had two sisters, but he waited until he was 54 years old before he made any approach “for fear of causing upset”.

“I didn’t want to hurt anyone and so I always held off, and I think that was the right thing" he explained.
