The Taoiseach has condemned the assassination attempt on former US president Donald Trump as a "heinous act of political violence".

Speaking on BBC Northern Ireland's Sunday Politics, Simon Harris said: “What we've seen happen in Butler, Pennsylvania has been truly shocking.
