Israel’s reprimand of Ireland’s ambassador was “totally unacceptable”, the Tánaiste has said.

Micheál Martin made the remarks after Ambassador Sonya McGuinness was summoned to the Israeli foreign affairs ministry and reprimanded over Ireland’s decision to recognise the state of Palestine.
