Man charged over death of Paul ‘Bosco’ O’Connor in Cork

A man has been charged in connection with the death of Paul "Bosco" O'Connor (pictured), whose body was found just outside of Mallow town on October 15. 

A man has been charged in connection with the death of Paul "Bosco" O'Connor, whose body was found just outside of Mallow town on October 15.

The 56-year-old, from Ballyphehane in Cork city, was found dead with gunshot wounds at Ballyellis by a walker.

The man who has been charged will appear before a special sitting of Fermoy district court at 2.30pm on Monday afternoon. A woman in her 40s who was also questioned about the death has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
