McManus family purchases oldest pub in Adare ahead of Ryder Cup

The former bar was known for hosting trad music sessions and will undergo renovations ahead of the 2027 Ryder Cup

The family of JP McManus has purchased the oldest public house in Adare, which used to be a popular spot for locals.

Located on the Rathkeale Road, the 19th-century Sean Collins & Sons pub closed in 2024, having been family-run for approximately 70 years.
