A man and a woman have been arrested in relation to the seizure of four kilograms of suspected cocaine in Co Tipperary.
Gardaí from the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Tipperary Divisional Drugs Unit seized the drugs worth around €280,000 on Tuesday in Nenagh.
A man in his 20s and a woman in her 20s were arrested and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 in a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.
They have both since been charged and are due to appear in court on Thursday morning.
The seized drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
"Investigations are ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
