Tributes paid to 'outstanding' UCC historian Gabriel Doherty following his death

Historian Gabriel Doherty, University College Cork was the keynote speaker at the centenary event at Dripsey Co. Cork in 2022. 

Tributes have been paid following the death of UCC history lecturer and researcher Gabriel Doherty. 

Mr Doherty was a historian who contributed articles to numerous historical journals and has edited two books de Valera’s Irelands and 1916 – The Long Revolution.
