Six homes raided and 30 arrested following major Garda operation in Limerick

Raid on properties in Newcastle West focused on targeting, disrupting and detecting individuals engaged in criminal activities, including the sale and supply of illegal drugs

Gardaí carried out searches at properties in Newcastle West on Tuesday morning.

At least 30 people have been arrested as part of a major Garda operation targeting criminal activity in Limerick.

Some six homes were raided by gardaí from the Limerick County Community Engagement and Crime Functional areas, supported by the Regional Support Unit, Limerick Divisional Roads Policing and divisional drug and detective units on Tuesday morning.
