Man arrested after Cork City pub doused in petrol overnight

In a separate and unconnected incident, a controlled explosion was carried out at a location in the Ballyvolane area of the city

The incident happened at a business premises on Ballincollie Road, in Ballyvolane at around 10.50pm. 

A man has been arrested after a pub was doused with petrol in Cork City on Sunday night.

The incident happened at around 10.50pm in Ballyvolane and was one of two separate and unconnected incidents in the area last night.
