Man charged in connection with criminal damage and motorbike crash in Cork
Serious criminal damage was caused to a property in the Shanakiel area at around 5.40pm on August 23.
A man has been charged in connection with a number of incidents in Cork City last Friday which saw property damage, a firearm seized and a man injured.
Serious criminal damage was caused to a property in the Shanakiel area at around 5.40pm on August 23.
Two people believed to be involved fled the scene on a motorbike which stuck a male pedestrian around 30 minutes later on Churchfield Road.
The man, in his 60s, was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment where he remains in a serious condition.
A man in his 20s was arrested by gardaí on Thursday as part of their investigation.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before a special sitting of Cork City District Court on Saturday afternoon.
"Investigations ongoing," a garda spokesperson added.
