Daena Walsh, a mother of two, who lived was found deceased in an apartment in Midleton, Co Cork.

Funeral details have been announced for Daena Walsh , the mother of two who who sustained fatal injuries at her home in Midleton last Friday afternoon.

Ms Walsh, formerly of Vartry Heights in Roundwood, Wicklow was pronounced dead at her flat off Main Street in the Cork town.

She will repose at her family home in Vartry Heights on Tuesday from 11am to 10pm.

Her removal will take place the following morning to The Church of St Laurence O' Toole in Roundwood, arriving for 11am requiem mass. 

A cremation service will follow at McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road in Wicklow town.

Her death notice says that she is survived by her sons Ezra and Kyson, her mother Caroline, brothers Paul, Robbie, Callum and Noah, grandparents, extended family, relatives and friends.

Mourners are asked to make a donation, if desired, to Crumlin Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.

On Sunday, a 29 year old man appeared before a special sitting of Mallow District Court  charged with the murder of Ms Walsh. 

Adam Corcoran of John Barry House in Connolly Street, Midleton was remanded in custody to appear before the court again on Tuesday.
