People in Cork City have been encouraged to get involved in a project on Wednesday designed to deliver a night of clean air.

It comes a week after air pollution levels spiked across the city during the cold snap, with high levels of PM2.5 — the air pollutant most harmful to public health — recorded last Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
