Corkman who survived 9/11 attack which killed his sister and niece passes away 

Ron Clifford, whose sister Ruth died in the 9/11 attacks

A Corkman who survived the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001 only to be subsequently told that his sister and young niece had died in the incident has died.

Ron Clifford, who was in his late 60s, died at his home in the US at the weekend.
