Two taken to hospital after alleged assault in Dublin 

In a statement, gardaí said they are “currently at the scene of an alleged assault" that occurred on Saturday afternoon. 

Two men have been taken to the Mater hospital for treatment following an alleged assault in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.

The area in Killarney Court in the north inner city is currently sealed off and emergency services are at the scene.

“Two males have been removed from the scene to the Mater Hospital for treatment of injuries.

"Investigations are ongoing."
