Teens arrested as man left in critical condition after Dublin assault

Two teenagers have been arrested in relation to a serious assault in Blanchardstown, Dublin, which left a man in critical condition.
The man, aged in his 30s, was found unconscious on the Mill Road shortly after 4.20pm on Sunday, May 17.
He remains in critical condition in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
As part of the investigation, Gardaí have arrested two males in their mid-teens.
They are both detained in a West Dublin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who travelled on Mill Lane, either on foot or by car, between 4pm and 5pm to come forward. During this time, many people were walking along the road from the grounds of Connolly Hospital to Main Street, Blanchardstown. Investigating Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with a female passenger who was in a silver Suzuki vehicle parked in the grounds of Connolly Hospital during this period.
