Man, 20s, in serious condition after Wicklow assault

A man in his 20s is in serious condition in hospital after being assaulted in Bray, Co Wicklow in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the incident on the Dublin Rd at approximately 1.25am.

The victim was taken to St Vincent's University Hospital and the scene was closed while a technical examination was carried out.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward including any road users who might have camera footage and were travelling on the Dublin Rd in Bray between 1am and 2am on Sunday.
