CCTV footage of an alleged attack on a vulnerable 66-year-old man in Cork City in the middle of the day is to be sent to a Cork man's defence solicitor so that consideration can be given to the possibility of entering a signed plea of guilty to the charge of assault causing harm.

Jonathan Mason of Farranferris Park, Farranree, Cork, is charged with carrying out the assault causing harm on a 66-year-old man at Great William O’Brien Street, Cork, at noon on Thursday, January 16.
