Gardaí charge two men in connection with murder of Keane Mulready-Woods

Gardaí investigating the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods have charged two men in relation to the crime.
Keane Mulready-Woods, 17, was last seen alive in Drogheda on January 12, 2020. The following day, some of the teenager's body parts were found in a sports bag in the Moatview area of Coolock in Dublin.
Two days later, remains were found in a burning car in a laneway in the Drumcondra area. Mr Mulready-Woods' torso was discovered on March 11, 2020, hidden in an overgrown ravine during a search of waste-ground at Rathmullan Park.
Gardaí have arrested and charged two men, aged in their 30s and 40s. Both men are expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday.
In February 2023, Paul Crosby was jailed for 10 years for assisting the the murder of Mr Mulready-Woods.
Crosby's co-accused, Gerard Cruise, was considered by the court to be at a lower level than Crosby and received a sentence of seven-and-a-half years with the final six months suspended for two years.
The maximum that each man could have faced was 15 years' imprisonment.
A third man, Gerard 'Ged' McKenna, was jailed for four years in March 2022. McKenna allowed his home to be used by Mr Mulready-Woods' murderers but did not have any foreknowledge of what was going to be done to the victim.
McKenna also cleaned up and removed blood-stained evidence from the scene.
