A row over a financial fund's appointment of a receiver over an exclusive estate that has hosted celebrities including Michael Jackson is to go to a mediation, the High Court has heard.

Businessman Desmond McGahan, 70, has brought proceedings against Mars Capital Finance (Ireland) Designated Activity Company and receiver Rory Cotter of Crowe Ireland over the plaintiff's property known as Ballinacurra House, in Kinsale, Co Cork.
