Man, 20s, killed following shooting in Dublin

A man has died after a shooting incident in north Dublin this evening.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident in Finglas shortly before 7pm.
A man, aged in his early 20s, was found shot outside of a house on Barry Drive.
The man was treated at the scene and removed by ambulance to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
It marks the first gangland-related death so far this year.
The scene at Barry Drive is being preserved for a forensic and technical examination.
The coroner has been notified and investigations are ongoing.
