Women who refused to quarantine after Dubai return to leave prison for hotel

The two women are being held at Mountjoy women's prison as they were unable to take up bail.

Two women who refused to enter mandatory hotel quarantine after arriving into Dublin Airport from Dubai have been permitted to leave Mountjoy woman's prison on foot of a High Court order.

On Sunday, Mr Justice Paul Burns amended bail conditions imposed on friends Niamh Mulreany and Kirstie McGrath, which will see them leave prison and continue to quarantine at a designated hotel.
