Man, 20s, hospitalised after firearm discharged at house in Co Kildare

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to the incident in which a firearm was discharged at 12.10am in the area of the Walled Gardens, Celbridge.

A man, aged in his 20s, has been hospitalised after a firearm was discharged at a home in Kildare on Friday night. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to the incident in which a firearm was discharged at 12.10am in the area of the Walled Gardens, Celbridge.

The man was brought to hospital for treatment of his injuries, believed to be non-life threatening at the time.

A technical examination of the scene was conducted, and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to this incident to contact them.

Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have camera footage, including dash cam, to make that footage available.
