Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following collision with car in Co Cavan

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was airlifted to the Mater Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a collision with a car in Co Cavan on Sunday.

The crash occurred on the R194 on the outskirts of Virginia at around 6.40pm.
