Government to spend €470k on jet months before it is to be sold

The Government is due to spend €470,000 on repairs and simulator training for its ageing jet, just months before the Department of Defence prepares to sell off the plane.

Tender documents published last week detail that both the Department of Defence and Defence Forces have separately sought services related to the Government’s Learjet 45.
